The has celebrated the workers saying that they are the bedrock of any prosperous economy.
The DCI said in a statement that they do the heavy-lifting that enables an economy to pick itself by its bootstraps.
“Happy Labour Day,” the National police statement said.
“As the National Police Service, we do our fair share of nation building. We contribute immensely to the growth of our national economy by ensuring a peaceful and conducive environment for businesses to thrive. As such, NPS is Kenyans’ key partner of choice towards our collective prosperity,” the statement read.
“We therefore take this opportunity to join fellow workers to celebrate this special day as we wish them goodwill and abundant health during this year’s Labour Day.”
