Nakuru East Police FC invited their counterpart Eastmore FC for a friendly match

A community Policing drive occupied the better part of the day yesterday at the Nakuru K-9 Section, formerly the Police Dog Unit within Nakuru Township when officers from Nakuru East Police FC invited their counterpart Eastmore FC for a friendly match.
Trouncing Eastmore FC 2-0, the friendly match was part of an initiative to enhance a cordial relationship between the police and the general public.

Issues of stress management, good utilization of free time amongst the law enforcers were also discussed extensively.
During the just completed “Healing the Boot” season 2 award ceremony, Nakuru East team emerged the overall runners up and also grabbed the award for the best team in community policing after conducting the highest number of community policing drives across the sub county.
The OCS Nakuru, Mr Derick Nyaga promised to conduct similar drives in future as they prepare for Season 3 of the ‘Healing the Boot’ campaign.
