Wiper Democratic Movement has cleared former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko to vie for Governor seat in Mombasa to be deputised by Kisauni Mp Ali Mbogo.
The team which was unveiled today by the Wiper Party Leader at his command centre promised to deliver the seat to Wiper and more so focus their efforts in helping the needy in the society and uplifting the standard of living of the people of Mombasa.
“Our consensus efforts continue to bear fruit. The National Elections Board is very pleased to announce that Gov. Mike Sonko. and Hon Ali Menza Mbogo have agreed to work together to deliver Mombasa county Governorship,” Kalonzo said.
In his remarks, Wiper Leader congratulated the duo for accepting to work together for the benefit of the people of Mombasa and country at large.
Sonko promises to continue his philanthropy works as he focuses on making Mombasa a “Dubai” of Africa.
Mbogo on his part promises to continue his development-oriented leadership and the two compliment their strengths to deliver for the Mombasa residents.
