Kenya Kwanza principals and other politicians enjoyed a boat ride during the campaigns in Lamu.
Deputy president William Ruto, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart spent yesterday in the coastal region hunting for votes.
“Lamu is a reminder of the importance of rebuilding our tourism industry and taking care of our environment so that those who depend on oceans and lakes for their livelihoods can continue to do so for generations to come. Kenya Kwanza will prioritize these sectors as part of our economic agenda,” the DP said.

Other leaders in the campaign include MPs Aden Duale (Garissa Township), Aisha Jumwa (Malindi), Khatib Mwashetani (Lunga Lunga), Anwar Loitiptip (Lamu), Benjamin Tayari (Kinango), Kithure Kindiki (Tharaka Nithi), Mathias Robi (Kuria West), and former Governors Issa Timamy (Lamu), Hussein Dado (Tana River) and Ahmed Ali Mukhtar (Wajir).
