President Uhuru Kenyatta has remained silent despite the calls to lower food prices.

Uhuru who is away in UAE has not responded since Kenyans started the campaigns to lower food prices.

“Members of Parliament, Senators, MCAs are now joining the common Kenyan in complaining about the food prices when the same people pass laws that directly make the food prices shoot upwards. High taxation etc. A bunch of pretenders,” Dalla Mohammed said.

The campaign slowly gaining momentum claim that food pricess have doubled since Uhuru came to power.

“The best way to #LowerFoodPrices is to ensure you vote for the right leaders on 9 August 2022. If you vote for someone because he is from your tribe or because of his political party then nothing will change,” Alinur Mohammed said.
