Deputy President William Ruto, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya Moses Wetangula are confident to win in the first round.

They were accompanied by hundreds of MPs, aspirants and thousands of fans where they toured Baringo and Nakuru.

They warned president Uhuru Kenyatta against using state institutions to fight opponents.
They also reminded Uhuru that he has led down many Kenyans during his tenure as the president.
“Mr President, you have a right to be disappointed with me. But, I want to tell you: Kenyans are even more disappointed in you. They are hungry, they are tired. Let’s not lie to each other,” Musalia said.
Ruto drummed up support for the bottom-up economy model and assured Kenyans that they will be part of the next government.
“We do not subscribe to imposing burdens on the already struggling Kenyans. That is why we will participate actively in parliamentary business and other forums that will help confront their challenges,” Ruto said.
