State promise to roll out Covid-19 booster

Statehouse has promised to roll out the issuance of Covid-19 booster doses from tomorrow, 1st January 2022.
The state will be targeting eligible Kenyans who have completed the primary vaccination regime.
“The Government will effective tomorrow, 1st January 2022 roll-out the issuance of Covid-19 booster doses to eligible Kenyans who have completed the primary vaccination regime,” Statehouse said today Friday, 31 December.
Statehouse said after President Uhuru Kenyatta received the booster dose of Moderna Covid-19 vaccine on Friday in Nairobi.
Chief Justice Martha Koome also received the booster Covid-19 injection at a brief event attended by Health CAS Rashid Aman and Willis Akhwale, the Chairman of the National Covid-19 Vaccines Taskforce.
