Nikita Kering beats Wizkid, Zuchu, Nandy to bag AFRIMA awards

Kenya’s Nikita Kering’ yesterday walked home with two awards at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).
The 19-year-old singer was named the Best Female Artiste in East Africa at the AFRIMA 2021, held in Lagos, Nigeria.
She thanked her loyal fans for the support that saw her beat music stars; Zuchu, Nandy, Tanasha Donna, and Nadia Mukami, nominated under the same category.
Other competitors are were Afrie (Uganda), Karun (Kenya), Merry Zerabruk (Eritrea), Rema Namakula, DJ Harold & Chike (Uganda), Rosa Ree (Tanzania), Spiece Diana (Tanzania) and Xenia (Kenya)
“We did it!!! 2 Afrima Awards! Thank you God🙏 All your votes counted. I’m very grateful 😊❤🙏,” she said on her IG.
