Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper as a village party, which cannot form a government.
The DP said told Kalonzo that Kenyans are working together to build a good nation.
He said Wiper is outdated and that UDA policies will transform the country.
“You can’t form a government with a village party,” Ruto said. He was addressing leaders, UDA Aspirants and Professionals from Kibwezi West and East constituencies in Makueni County.
He said that UDA was still the most popular party in the country. This is after many elected members of the parliament joined the party.
“We should stop tribal politics and focus on empowering Kenyans. We should unite Kenyans,” Ruto said.
Ruto said that serious contenders in the 2022 polls already have parties with a national image.
“We need a strong party that can unite Kenyans and form the government. We will work with all Kenyans. Those who voted us, and those who did not vote for us,” Ruto said.
Ruto said that the ODM leader was behind the woes facing the Jubilee party.
“We had a good plan for Kenyans. We had Jubilee to unite Kenyans and the Big four to provide jobs,” Ruto said.
