Deputy President William Ruto has challenged ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and his ODM counterpart Raila Odinga development track.
Ruto said that Raila and Musalia have been in government for decades but cannot single out a project they have initiated in Western.
“I have made roads, infrastructure and contributed to the growth of schools,” Ruto said on Friday while touring Khayega.
The DP said that he was pushing the bottom-up economic model to change the lives of the masses.
“I now have the bottom-up economy model so that everyone can take part directly in national development,” Ruto said.
Ruto said the 2022 contest is now framed.
“It is between the Hustler Nation and its agenda of the Bottom-Up Economic Development Model that seeks to create jobs and expand enterprises versus the project of the System that believes in patronage, trickle-down approach and handouts,” he said.
Ruto was accompanied by religious leaders, opinion-shapers and small-scale businessmen from Western.
