One Kenya Alliance (OKA) leaders yesterday asked Mount Kenya to focus on unity and putting the country on the development track before endorsing anyone else.

Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Gideon Moi (Kanu) and Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya) told Mount Kenya entrepreneurs that a weak economy was making it easy to brainwash youths.
“Stop division politics and agree to play any role to secure Kenya. We might be comfortable today, but tomorrow is important,” former Lugare Mp Cyrus Jirongo said.

Former Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi called for a national dialogue to address the challenges Kenyans are facing.
“My Message to the Mt Kenya Community and Kenyans today is that we need to pull together as a country, embrace peace and unity for us to achieve a working economy that will benefit all Kenyans,” Musalia said.
He added that the team is ready to secure the nation and ensure everyone stays and do business everywhere.
“I thank the Mt Kenya Foundation for the warm welcome and the opportunity to present ourselves and our ideas to you; ideas that would make Kenya and not dismember it,” Musalia said.
“I encourage such stakeholder dialogues by other organized groups so that at the end of the electoral process in August 2022, there will be a stable One Kenya.”

Former Vice president Kalonzo challenged the region to elect leaders with integrity.
“We should ensure integrity by voting wisely,” Kalonzo said.
“I have challenged Kenyans to reflect on the leaders they want to put in power and examine whom among them can be trusted by the leadership of the country. We want to work towards having a leader who respects the rule of law and has the lives of every Kenyan at heart,” he said.
Baringo Senator Gideon said that the country is at a point where Kenyans must solidify social fabrics to accelerate shared prosperity while guarding the nation against forces hellbent on pushing us in the path of destruction.
“Without peace, cohesion, and stability, our economic progress is at crossroads,” Gideon said.
Gideon added that all rights in the constitution be respected and the law followed.
