Speaking during the Kiss 100 morning show with his co-host, Kamene Goro, Jalang’o said that he is not a party to a syndicate involved in printing and distributing fake currencies in the country.
Blogger Obare, who has been making headlines for ‘exposing’ celebrities for wrongdoings, had accused the comedian turned radio presenter of being a silent partner in the vicious enterprise in Nairobi.
However, Jalang’o deconstructed the allegations, attributed his wealth to a strong work ethic. He opened up on his multiple streams of revenue.
Additionally, Jalang’o narrated that he was a brand ambassador for five tops brands, including Safaricom’s Okoa Jahazi and Velvex.
He added that companies that hire him, ranging from financial organisations, boutiques, fast-moving consumer goods and construction, always pay him handsomely.

“As you speak today, I think I’m a brand ambassador to almost five top brands. A brand ambassador, not influencer, for influencing I have a thousand and one. I’ll tell you easily, there’s a time I drive in this town and I see a billboard literally every single place, those things pay,” Jalang’o stated.
Jalang’o also revealed to Kamene that he owns and runs a marketing agency that employs 20 staff members, whose income is both pensionable and taxable. The firm, he said, runs above and below the line marketing strategies to satisfy its clientele’s requirements.
In the breakfast show, the entertainer also stated that he makes three to four club appearances, which pay him as well.
Moreover, he is the proprietor and host of Jalang’o TV. He added that the channel generates revenue from the number of views accrued.
